A complex
Iron Age hillfort with some interesting features and stunning views of the
surrounding countryside. To the south, the hillside slopes steeply down to a
river several hundred feet below. The prominence on the north east corner of
the hillfort looks as if it may be a "slinging platform" protecting the
entrance. | ||||
